Living the Dream
These are the people and websites that have managed to suck my time whenever I log on to the internet. I hope you enjoy them as much as I do:
Greg Mu- This cat runs an awesome blog called The Simple Pleasures chronicling his epic on and off road cycle tour from Prudhoe Bay to however far south he can get. He’s a great photographer, blogger and friend. Don’t forget to support his ride!
Kendra and Rob- A local couple, blogging on SEA Change, that lives down the road from me in El Portal, CA who are currently cycling all over the place. They started in SE Asia and have cycled all over Asia and the Middle East.
Nick Mallett- Nick is an amazing person who has toured all over the world on bicycle along with competing in the kind of endurance events (think 2-3 Ironmans stacked on each other) that most of us can’t even imagine. I met him as he was cycling from Anchorage, after running a marathon, to Penticton, B.C. to compete in a Ultraman Canadian Marathon Competition. He is a true testament to the power of the human spirit and his blog, Riding through the Haze, focuses on the interpersonal aspects of touring, endurance sports and life in general.
Mario, Pablo, Alex y Mario- These four guys from Guadelejara, Mexico decided to cycle from Anchorage back home over the course of 100+ days. They are a tight group of cyclist and have been a blessing to hang out with on the road. They are blogging at Proyecto Panamericano.
Ayngelina Brogan- This lovely Canadian blogger, from Bacon is Magic, was the first to turn me on to the wonderful world of blogging while travelling. She has been travelling for quite a while now through the Americas and shows no signs of stopping anytime soon. She focuses on food, photography and culture. Definitely worth your time. She’s kinda my muse.
Hyperbole and a Half– A great place to kill many hours. I guarantee you will like this “alot”.
